Alot of golfers tend to think new equipment will improve their game, when it doesn't they end up selling their clubs on the used market for a fraction of the price. As long as they are in decent shape, used golf clubs are just as good as brand new. A few scratches on a club won't make any difference, besides, you'll get scratches on a new set after one round of golf. I actually think anyone that buys new clubs is a little stupid. Whatever you do, don't buy a cheap new golf set, when you can get a top of the line golf set from a few seasons ago at the same price. A cheap new golf set starts off low quality and will always be low quality, a used top of the line set is just as good as the day it was new, it's just a fraction of the price now.
