Answer: I think you mean "golf" set not "gold" set. If so, the best place for an inexpensive set is definitely online. Ebay has hundreds if not thousands of used golf sets on sale all the time. Alot of golfers tend to think new equipment will improve their game, when it doesn't they end up selling their clubs on the used market for a fraction of the price. As long as they are in decent shape, used golf clubs are just as good as brand new. A few scratches on a club won't make any difference, besides, you'll get scratches on a new set after one round of golf. I actually think anyone that buys new clubs is a little stupid. Whatever you do, don't buy a cheap new golf set, when you can get a top of the line golf set from a few seasons ago at the same price. A cheap new golf set starts off low quality and will always be low quality, a used top of the line set is just as good as the day it was new, it's just a fraction of the price now.
