Answer: Those are pretty much as far as you can get from race skis. They're women's trying-to-get-better-than-a-beginner skis. No specialization, and lowest-end in Fischer's recreational skier range. Even for a complete newbie, you'd probably be better served moving higher up in the product line to the Vision 20, or even-better, the Vision 30. To put it bluntly, if you have to ask about whether something is a race ski, you are well-advised to stay far, far away from race skis, or even high-performance skis.
