How do I know if a MP3 file have the CD quality or not?

Question: After downloading a MP3 file, how do I know if this file have the CD quality, is there some parameter in its properties that indicate its quality?

Answer: An MP3 file is compressed from wav format. Therefore it is not CD quality. If you check your MP3 files you will see they have a compression size shown as 128Kbps or 56Kbps. This defines the quality. The higher the figure the better the quality but also the bigger the file. I use 128Kbps as it shows very little loss of quality at a reasonable size. Hope this helps
